Best Husbandry Practices
Your Cockatiels Home
Cockatiels love being social. If at all possible, it is always best to keep these birds with other cockatiels, even just one.
Cockatiels need large enclosures with plenty of items to interact with. Beyonf the essential perches, they should be provided with mirrors, ropes, bells, and snack hides.
Cockatiel’s enclosures should NOT be kept near windows to avoid direct sunlight, which can overheat them and drafts, which can chill them (they are tropical birds!)
